Kitchen Coaching Program

This program will best suit people who are ready to make some serious changes to their food, the way they think about food, and their health in general.

This special program is being run with Fresh Holistic Health with each program having the space for up to 10 people.

We get together each fortnight in Fresh Holistic Health's awesome kitchen to cover a wide range of topics/activities including healthy substitutions; transition techniques; test-driving new kitchen tools; tasting new foods; learning new ways to shop or stock; getting organised; reducing waste; and cleansing your home, diet, mind, and body (and heaps more).  We will also create at least 6 different recipes each time we are together and eat them for lunch on the day! There will be a webinar 'gathering' on the in-between weeks to touch base and ask questions, and we will conclude the course with a big celebration lunch where you can invite friends and loved ones to taste and celebrate what you have learned over the past 2 months.

The Focus topics for each KITCHEN SESSION are as follows:

  1. Getting Organised:  the staples, salad theory, fermented foods, and dressings + Preparing for weeks 1 & 2 of cleanse;
  2. Creating Flavour AND Nutrition: dips, dippers, smoothies, juices and a treat + Easing into weeks 3 & 4 of the cleanse program;
  3. Expanding Variety: healthy plant proteins, broths, level 2 meal-salads and sauces + Preparation for weeks 5 & 6 of the cleanse; and
  4. Healthier Alternatives for common staples: raw desserts, stir-'fries', sauces, breakfasts, and mylks + Establishing the new normal for clean eating in weeks 7 & 8 for beyond cleanse.

The Focus Topics for each WEBINAR  are as follows (custom requests by the group are also accommodated where possible):

  1. The skinny on Fats, Oils, and what they do in the body;
  2. Sugar: which ones, why and how much; and
  3. Chemical reduction in the home and body-care products.
  4. What comes next - how to maximise the 8-week program learnings/materials for the next whole year!

There are 2 bonus trips to learn tips and tricks for buying more economically at Kunara, learning a few 'killer' marketing secrets so you can make informed decisions,  and how to shop without stress.

Group members (lovingly referred to as Kitchen Crew) also receive a useful gift bag of goodies and all course materials to get you set up for success.

If this is something that you would like to know more about please contact Ashley to arrange a Kitchen Catch-Up and see whether this program is a good fit for you.

...Overall the course has changed my life on a daily basis. I know that with practise I will only continue to improve on my cooking abilities and thanks to Ashley’s style of teaching, I will also be confident enough to be creative with ingredients to make some Cate-style varieties with herbs and spices in the future !! Thanks so much Ashley! I know in the future I will be looking out for more wonderful short classes at Ashley’s kitchen school.. the one coming up about Self care in the kitchen has really got me interested, and there are so many!!

First and foremost I would like to give Ashley a very huge virtual hug and even huger thank you for helping my family make a turnaround in the way we perceive and approach food and most importantly new food being introduced into our diet.
Just to give a brief background about my family, we have no allergies and are not on any special diet. I just felt we would be helping ourselves more if we limited the amount of gluten and sugar intake. This is was huge for us as we are more or less creatures of habit when it comes to our diet, but after taking to Ashley and going through my pantry we decided to try small changes every week , some obvious ones and some a bit more sneaky. The kids did not even realise that they were eating and loving the dreaded broccoli and cauliflower with their precious pasta, I could not be happier. We also made a conscious decision to reduce the amount to cereals we ate for breakfast and opted for different things like omelettes and buckwheat pancakes. These small changes have made a world of difference and the kids are now more aware of what they eat, We have also started reading labels together to try and identify those preservatives that we don’t want in our meals. This process has been so inspiring that the kids are finally on board in trying out gluten free meals. Thanks Ash for the support in getting the ball rolling and I hope our little victory will encourage despairing moms out there not to give up. Thank you once again and hope to keep updating on many more small but earth shattering victories.
